Description
Aroma
A nose of bourbon casks: vanilla, coconut, fresh oak, lemon zest, white pepper and a bright, sweet malty base.
Taste
On the palate, a powerful cask strength, but in a lighter bourbon-cask style: vanilla, coconut, green apple, lemon zest, sweet malt and hot oak spice. Unlike the classic A’bunadh, there is less sherried dried fruit here and more pure vanilla, citrus and strong cask brightness.
Aftertaste
Very long, hot, with vanilla and oak, leaving a powerful trail of coconut, apple, citrus, dry oak and spicy strength.
Advantages
Cask strength and a pure bourbon cask style with bright vanilla
